Cavubati, Nakarawa to play locks in RWC opener

The pairing of Tevita Cavubati and Leone Nakarawa as locks for the opener against Australia is a foregone conclusion after manning those berths towards the end part of the Pacific Nations Cup and Tonga in the Pasifika challenge in Auckland.

Saulo to miss Uruguay match

Fiji prop Manasa Saulo has been suspended for 10 weeks for stamping and will miss their final match of RWC 2015

Flying Fijians tighthead prop Manasa Saulo has been suspended for 10 weeks after admitting to stamping the head of Wales lock Luke Charteris in their Pool A clash last Friday.

In a press release World Rugby stated: “Following a review of video footage, Saulo was cited by Independent Citing Commissioner Bruce Kuklinski (Canada) under Law 10.4(b) for stamping the head of an opponent (Luke Charteris (WAL)) in the Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool A match against Wales in Cardiff on 1 October.
